@tomw @ExtinctionR the way I see it is that many many people would walk and cycle much more if the roads weren't so busy/unsafe

EVs do nothing to make roads more attractive for walking and cycling and are therefore hindering the transition

They also get in the way of buses

    I think it's safe to say that all those economists who said the costs of climate change weren't going to be high were staggeringly, dangerously, wrong.

    @danjac @petergleick I'm not convinced that it even justifies the word "branch". Since most #economists seem to align to a narrow conception (often, but not always titled according to a white male originator) of what is and what is not "true", #economics is more like a cluster of water shoots on a poorly cared for tree.
