I have just learned of the death of Paul de Senneville (aged 89)

Under the guidance of Jean Baudlot, he founded Delphine Software and Adeline Software (named after his daughters).

Just so there's no misunderstanding, Delphine Software was created thanks to Jean Baudlot, who convinced Paul de Senneville to set up a video game company.

Adeline Software was created 4 years later (1992).

Do you remember the tennis games you played on your old machines? 🎾

Personally, I remember three games in particular: Tie Break, Tennis Cup and Great Courts on Atari ST and Amiga.

I had a great time playing these games 😀

You've probably noticed that this is the DX version I own 🎨

Link's Awakening DX was released 5 years later (December 1998). This color version featured an extra dungeon and a photo mode using the Game Boy Printer 🖨️

Do you remember the first Infogrames game(s) you played?

As far back as I can remember, I think it was Prohibition on Atari ST. I also remember Operation Jupiter and Bob Morane Science-Fiction.

I don't know what kind of reception Wreckers has had abroad, but in France it's had nothing but great reviews in the press! 😀

For example, in issue 93 of Tilt magazine (September 1991), the game scored 16/20 ⭐️

Got this game yesterday ✨ (mint condition!)

I spent many hours playing on my Amiga 500 🥰

You have to manage and defend a space station against aliens using droids. It's highly addictive!

From yesterday's stream, my [poor] attempt at playing Loriciel's l'Aigle d'Or : Le Retour is suddently cut short by pressing "X" on the keyboard which is apparently the self destruct button...?

Italian streamer is surprised because obscure French game gets suddenly cut-off by the pressing X on the keyboard which is apparently the "crash" button

25 years ago, to the day, I bought StarCraft 🤩

I was totally crazy about this game. I spent so many hours on it! 😅

According to Wikipedia, it seems that StarCraft was released on March 31, 1998 in the US and on April 27 in Europe. So I would have bought my copy one week after its release.

It's still complete and in good condition 🥰
