django-simple-deploy 0.6.5 is out.

This solidifies support for Platform.sh; multiple deployments should work, and it should work if you have multiple orgs as well.

Now the work shifts to implementing an internal plugin model. I'm really looking forward to this phase of work. :)

I just released django-simple-deploy 0.6.2, the first release in quite a while.

You can use it to make multiple deployments to Fly.io. Heroku deployments are updated as well.

I'm making steady progress toward a plugin-based model, and should be able to make regular releases over the next few weeks.

Y'all, duno if you sing. But today with my vocal coach we went over the vocals I recorded FOR THE FIRST TIME. And although I know it's not unique to me but when I say it was like a special level of hell to listen to that. 😭 😆

But yes i'll keep at it because being uncomfortable means growth blah blah. 😅 I still hate it though. 🫤

It would mean a lot to me if you kept the sentiment in mind for future occasions when you see people getting pushed away from organizing communities of any sort. Wrote a cursed custom Django field, OPField, that stores the location to a 1Password item using their custom URI (op://…) and has the ability to get the secret via the op cli.

op_uri, secret = OPField.with_secret()

I blame @CodenameTim and his blog post about the RegisterField that I haven’t been able to get out of my head since he wrote it months ago.
