Every once in a while, I get a visit from a hummingbird, it looks at me and laughs and then it leaves. 😞 I've tried all kinds of things, and nothing seems to keep them around. I think they're just migrating and passing through for a visit.
Nearly done with the ink/gold portion of the #osirisrex#wip. Next up, decorative precious stone inlay (in paint, both figuratively and LITERALLY thanks to my Daniel Smith PrimaTek #watercolors), a golden center, and finally, asteroid samples!
The last canoe piece I created for The Indigenous Diabetes Health Circle. Yes, they licensed A LOT from me! I am so thankful to be chosen to work with so many great organizations. :)
Painted this lovely fella from the community to test some hemp paper for watercolors. The video about the paper is online on the YT channel now. The kitties name is Canetti and the portrait has already arrived at the owners home and was reviewed by Canetti himself!
Just love to paint animals and see happy owners. :) Every one of them is so worthy to be painted.
“Here Comes the Chase” @ElisaLongoB@LidlTrek looks over her shoulder to see @demivollering@teamsdworx & @marianne_vos@visma_lab_women bridging across in @OmloopHNB More #womenscycling#art#watercolors at theartofcycling.blogspot.com #cycling#cyclisme#ciclismo@flobikes
I realised, I painted many cats last year and this one started with a cat too...
This is Lyra, painted on stream. Now I have to decide who or what to paint next. There are still reference photos left from the lovely community that allows me to paint their pets on stream and in videos. So maybe one of those?
I have been quiet lately, working so hard to create new art and setting up a #Spoonflower and #Redbubble online store. 💜 I opened up this Redbubble store today with my #watercolors and #illustrations available on many different product types. If you want to be one of the first window shoppers or customers please check it out!!!
I dreamed about art and was asked in my dream which advice I could give and I said:
Easy is ok, it's fun and there's nothing wrong with it. It's quick and you get decent results.
But if you try something new, something difficult, you can fail, but you can also learn and succeed and feel happy about mastering something you never thought you could.
By not trying, you rob yourself of the feeling of accomplishment. Which, again, is totally ok. But I want you to know that you can choose.
