We had planned to go on a trail, but the park gate was still closed. It used to be 'open at dawn' but now not until 7am. Change of plan. A #silentsaturday instead at the lake on a cool (52F/11C) morning. A heron flew away as we approached.

Had an amazing walk only a few miles from home in an area I had never been before. The only disappointing thing is knowing I'd need several million pounds to buy a house in a house in such an area. #SilentSaturday
I was surprised to find that the Gobi Desert isn't just sand dunes and camels. Upon arrival here it rained buckets for a few days before clearing. The vastness creates a feeling of soul-searching isolation and calm.

Beaucoup de déambulations à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur des remparts, une coupe glacée chez Sanchez, une pause sous le soleil dans un parc pour enfants, une très chouette rencontre imprévue avec @emeline et la course #cyclingforclimate et un restaurant de fruits de mer pour finir la journée.

Ça se résume en un 5 kilomètres en course à pied suivi d'un kilomètre de nage en mer à marée montante. Impossible de nager dans la piscine tellement elle est recouverte.
Le paysage d'hier n'a rien à voir avec celui de ce matin. C'est précieux les grandes marées : à chaque mouvement d'eau, c'est une ville différente qui s'offre à nous. #silentsaturday#pixel6a

This ancient city was commercially developed in the first century by colonial #Roman olive producers. By the end of the 4th century it had separated from the #RomanEmpire and collapsed, perhaps by earthquake; abandoned in the 11th century after it became a Muslim dynastic center.
