#introductions
Hi, I am a nearly half a century old Dutch person who is overwhelmed a lot of the time.
I am dedicated to working decades of old trauma out of my rickety body.
When I get rid of the all-pervasive fear I'll hopefully start painting again, which made me feel like everything was right with the world.
For now I'm creatively constipated and trying to navigate through the fog in my head. (It's hard to find words.)
Would like to follow un-normal people who are as inconsistent as I am.
One day post photos of cats, food, moss, next day rage against the government's herd immunity policy, be quiet and thoughtful the next.
Sometimes I actually manage to say something insightful or funny.
I haven't spent a lot of time here recently. I intended to cross-post for a while and see how it goes. With the recent #twittermigration it's worth spending more time here and intend to share more.
Really keen to see the growth on :mastodon: so I'll #followback for the next while.
'As a two time cancer survivor I hope that my art can inspire, lift-up and bring awareness to the world of the "hope and strength" available to us all.
Lavender, purple, lilac ..colors that represent strength, endurance, passion and hope. Colors to celebrate survival of all cancers that attempt to devastate our soul from within.
#Cricket (the sport - so much so that I spin my cricket jokes off elsewhere to spare you all - see @liebcricket for that)
#ComicBooks (in particular, #Superhero comics and, even more particularly #DC superhero comics and, even more superspecifically, #BronzeAge DC superhero comics)
#Survivor - the TV show, not the band (although the band's fine)
