Every Saturday a small group would go sailing in the bay where I used to live (on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.) I captured this image on one of those days...
"free" time: when we're away from the workplace, with friends, and doing something adventurous and fun and exciting -- this is a memorable, golden time that warms our heart as it creates memories we are determined to repeat.
Autumn is a season of both bright foliage and brooding skies. Like spring, it plays with warmth and coolness -- you definitely appreciate the rays of the sun when you find yourself in the shadows.
I really don't get it. Why are you celebrating the sinking of a small #sailboat? It puts the passengers at risk and achieves exactly what?
And framing that as a "just" "fight" is simply inane. History has shown rather clearly the fate of any marine mammals that were deemed prey or a nuisance.
The moment a few children drown on their grandpa's skiff will see that pod sent straight to the bottom of the sea. Not an outcome anybody should wish for. #orca#gibraltar
Me over-exposing the film in the camera, it's a good idea to keep old cameras in cases in strong sunlight. 😅 You might notice some light leaks in the previous photo.
It's a museum now, but not that long ago this grand house was home to a large family. Walking through the thoughtfully preserved rooms, I think, "Wouldn't THIS be a place to grow up in?" Imagine, as a child, running through this space and place.
