> We will talk through the AMGA Rock Rescue Drill and hopefully cover a ton of good info regarding what to do if shit gets weird. Lowering an injured climber, counterbalance rapping to an injured climber, rapping with a climber, hauling a climber up, knot passes, etc.
My daughter is really into rock climbing and #Lego, so I thought I would build her a custom set for her birthday. After about 20 hours in Bricklink Studio this is what I came up with. Now I just have to order parts and build it. What do you think? Is it good enough for #LegoIdeas ? #AFOL#MOC#rockclimbing
Top tip... check that your planned evening venue isn't hosting the Continental Ice Climbing Final at the weekend before spending an hour driving there! 😞 On a positive note, I bet it's going to be impressive! #SuderlandWall#IndoorClimbing#RockClimbing
I took my son climbing in the Gunks for the 4th time on Sunday. We did a route called Gelsa. He panicked on the top part of the route, which is very exposed. He left all my gear still in the rock. We made it to the top just as it became pitch black, and walked back to the car in the darkness. By the time I rapelled the route the next morning, all my climbing gear had been removed. $600 or $800 of gear gone that I can't really afford to replace. #gunks #rockclimbing#climbing

A few pictures from the 'via del veterano' in Ticino near Freggio.
After we had experienced a real rush hour at the rock last year on a Sunday, we were surprised to be alone the whole day on a Saturday.
Brooklyn Boulders in Queensbridge is doing a refer-a-friend deal where we each get a free month of membership, so if you're interested in joining a #LIC#Queens climbing gym for at least 3 months and want a free month, msg me.
