I usually prefer to do my builds with off the shelf parts, like this prop! But sometimes, you gotta get creative to make the whole thing come together!
Apparently, #Etsy is giving a discount this weekend, $5 off any purchase of $25 or more. Even nicer, they're actually footing the whole bill, rather than taking anything from sellers.

I feel I don't share enough of my crafts, I do crafts and DIY stuff as well, prop building included, this was for a friends wedding. Heck was that anxiety inducing! But I'm very honoured they picked me to create them this photo prop, they put some hay bails behind it so you could sit in the moon :)
For reference I am NEVER working with MDF EVER AGAIN. >:/ Plywood, real wood or nothing.
Uhm ... Frage: Gibt es legale Wege, um an alte Briefkästen der Deutschen Post zu kommen? Also, die großen gelben, die überall rumhängen und regelmäßig geleert werden. (also: gibt es sowas wie "dp-gebrauchtbriefkasten dot de"?)

BTW, the center ring pushes down to the lower part just like the original prop.
