Not sure what to do with my photographs. I used to rely on #flickr quite a lot, but it's been the same since 2000, and far from being the greatest solution.
I won't join #meta#instagram, been off from Facebook for 10 years, so I won't go back in this environment.
What's left? #500px maybe? Or #pixelfed could be a viable alternative today? Or maybe even turn my personal #blog in a platform where I can also share photos? 🤨 🤔
Last chance. If you want to have your signature on the real life letter that goes to Canada's House of Commons Speaker and others, you must tell me before 9AM PDT (about 40 minutes).
You do not have to be Canadian to sign.
Signatures received after 9AM will be on the web version.
I've made some updates to the letter including more supporting links and sources.
The nice thing about the new @pixelfed app is that image aspect ratios are preserved, so you don’t miss any details!
Sometimes they can be taller than your screen, or constrained in a carousel, either way we are adding native pinch to zoom to allow you to quickly zoom in without leaving the screen/feed position you’re on!
Available later this month on the App Store and Play Store ✨
You may have noticed that @trwnh has done some spring cleaning to our issue tracker and closed hundreds of issues!
We're re-organizing our issues to eliminate duplicates, and close issues that have been resolved.
That being said, we may have closed your issue prematurely!
We recommend you comment on any issues that you feel were improperly closed that mentions @dansup to help bring it to our attention, and we will re-open the issue accordingly!
I've decided to try #Flipboard again as a #GoogleNews alternative. I don't like the interface as much and the ads are not intrusive, but I like that it has some #fediverse integrations with #Mastodon and #pixelfed. There's also apparently a YouTube integration, but it failed to connect for me.
I've just created a bruno(a new API client) collection for the pixelfed API
So for everybody who works with the #pixelfed API, maybe it can be of help to you
😁 just thought I'd include a view of what 90% of my explorations look like ... between the rivers, bridges, beaches, murals, and other destinations there's countless miles of this. Sometimes eerily empty, sometimes chaotic and crowded ... some busy roadways even without pedestrian sidewalks - but I try to avoid those if possible 😉
