Arlo had to take one dose of panacur this morning and have his nails trimmed. He only got one bite of banana after, not a whole banana. He would like the number for animal control, because he is clearly abused. #bunny#rabbits#pets
Doggie hydration technique. Dog here was perpetually dehydrated, until we figured out he would drink if we filled up a 5 gallon bucket. But a big bucket is a lot of water and hard to keep clean. So we bought a bowl which fits in the bucket, which works too. Very important on these hot days. #dogs#pets
Green monkeys & their cousins were imported to delight the rich. #Cleopatra had one & many pharaohs. They were beloved enough to be mummified.
Despite their popularity, the Egyptians were #bad owners.
#Malnutrition & lack of exercise & light caused most monkeys to die between the ages of 6-10, while they live until around 13 in modern #captivity & age 12 in the #wild.
#Dog update: very heavy limping in front right leg still. Vet checked, no pain reaction at fully stretched or pressure from below, strong reaction when fully bent and under pressure.
Conclusion: Lage rammed the front edge of his shoulder blade into the bookshelf. Nothing broken. Painkillers for a bit.
