I do this on my spare time, and dev work is really hard at times (looking at you, RecyclerView). So donations are really important to keep the project going!

After the wake-up call from @calckey, and me signing into calckey as @lucas, I have started working on a API adaptar layer to make #Moshidon a more #CalcKey friendly app! It's still in early development though, and I will post relevant updates here and on our matrix chatroom at https://matrix.to/#/#moshidon:floss.social
The nightly dev build for #Moshidon has gotten some awesome improvements, by which I mean that the app won't crash all the time on calckey instances. There are still some problems to solve, like voting in polls and some other minor features. I believe they will be fixed once I start working on porting the Misskey API to the app and so on. It's still very much work in progress, but it's coming together nicely
Did you know that in #Moshidon and #Megalodon you can create a timeline with multiple hashtags? To do so, go to the Edit Timelines page and add a hashtag timeline. Then edit the timeline by tapping on it, the options to add other hashtags is under advanced options.

Another nightly release shall come your way. This time, the age old bug of not being able to edit the alt texts of images in your already posted toots is now fixed! And many more small improvements are now available.
Moshidon and Megalodon are shaping up to be such good Mastodon clients for Android. They’re fluid, native, Material You, and based on the upstream codebase—but they add extremely nice features that are lacking in the “official” app.
Open source is so cool. Even if the upstream project is more top-down driven and less of a community effort, it still allows for awesome downstreams like this.
🎉 Celebrating one year since my first contribution to @moshidon! Over the past 12 months, I've added dozens of features and improvements, in 66 pull requests and 291 commits (porting some of them over to @megalodon in "only" 39 pull requests). In total, I added ~17k lines of code. Looking forward to another year.
Today is the day I turn 18. It makes me happy to make it to another phase of my life, and it makes me even happier to have all of you amazing people by my side!
