Ah, yes. Along with Ace's weapons, comes Icarus' Innovations, combined into another single weapon pack, with the same addition of its own spawning menu. The nice thing here is that now the Barracuda won't require an additional addon to work (since it uses the Six-12's magazines, which are bundled in this pack already). However, I've also updated the PD-42 to be more in line with the SMG's latest code and added an ironsights variant to it as well.
Today's #throwbackthursday is from when I spliced an Xbox breakaway cable to USB so I could connect my Steel Battalion controller (and pedals) to my PC, and then homebrewed some drivers for it - and then to give it a game to play, I modded a beta build of Hawken so I could redirect the authentication server sign in elsewhere allowing me to play this delisted, server-less game offline!
Continuing with theme of community, lets talk how #Minecraft is not just a product made by Mojang, but a labor of love in which #community plays a big part contributing to game's development and success.
We will try to focus on few spaces in which community directly or indirectly changes the game and culture around it. To do that for the next few days we will toot about one such place where communities plays a role, today we start with localization!
#Minecraft after 14 years of development has plenty of content to offer in its vanilla version.
Yet there is a good chunk of community, which either wants something more, or different from the game.
Minecraft has an extremely active #modding community bringing QoL improvements, new biomes, mobs, items, mechanics... Whatever you can imagine that creates a personalized experience.
If you've never checked #mods out, do it now! Perhaps you will discover Minecraft anew.
Spawn Handler changes, basically. The URL & GSP, along with each crafting material, can be disallowed from spawning in backpacks & ammo boxes. However, if a material is allowed to be included in those loot tables but isn't included in any recipe, then it will still remove itself as it's unused.
At some point last year, I was trying to make a 3D recreation of #ZeldaII on the #GZDoom engine.
I was able to recreate most of the basic mechanics (movement, xp, spells, world map, etc.) and started working on translating some of the ZII's locations into 3D, but then I got burnt out.
I would be glad to continue this at some point in the future. But before that, I need to continue working on my toki pona game.

It took me awhile, but I finally got through Test Chamber 14! Took me awhile to figure out the best way to route a laser from one timeline to the other. Need to finish this someday so that I can try the new co-op! They even have split screen!

My preferred modding launcher is Mod Organizer 2. I love how I can easily see what files are overridden by each mod and better set the mod order....
