Rebooted and the sign-in screen had a lovely nature pic, but when I moused over to enter my password, text reminded me what a great app #LinkedIn is and maybe I should go get it.

I stopped going to movies because they began playing ads before the films. I don't like paying to be advertised to.
Maybe #Microsoft could waste less money on dicking around with "AI" an spend a few bucks to fix their fucking abysmal OneDrive app? Dropbox had that shit figured out years ago (and then messed it all up to "grow").
Workflow: Copy a .docx file into my OneDrive. It gets synced to the cloud. I now can no longer edit the local file on my machine in my OneDrive space because "Permissions changed" or whatever. Fucking useless.
She’s being asked to take on new responsibilities at her job and wants to be properly compensated. They’re asking her to do Microsoft Access work. Her role isn’t technical and has nothing to do with it. (She’s also a Black woman who doesn’t want to get walked over because of it.)
Does anyone have any advice or info about what compensation looks like for that kind of work? Thanks in advance!

Aviez-vous bien noté, outre le fait que Windows 10 arrivera en fin de support en 2025, que Windows 11 requiert au minimum un processeur Intel Core ou AMD de 2018. Imaginez-vous le nombre d'ordinateurs mis au rebu depuis la sortie de Windows 11, et ceux qui le seront d'ici à 2025. C'est une catastrophe écologique, un véritable scandale.

The school I'm going to this autumn is sadly requiring me to use #Windows, and wow, it's just so… inelegant. Lack of freedom and privacy aside, it has stuttery animations, UI elements scrolling into nothing, inconsistent alignments all over the place, an unnecessarily big and pedantic collection of preferences that makes the settings system a hassle to navigate, and so on. Hard to believe this is coming from #Microsoft.
