Ce week-end je me repose et je travaille pas mes planches donc à la place voilà un fanart de l’incroyable jeu Mobile Suit Baba, de Hempuli. Le tout un peu inspiré de ma lecture récente de Phenomena de Brian Michael Bendis et André Lima Araújo. J’en ai fait deux versions, la deuxième avec des ombres réalisées sur l’ordi. Vous me direz laquelle vous préférez !
Je n’ai pas cherché à copier le style de qui que ce soit ; il s’agit d’un projet avec une approche assez personnelle. Jetez-y un coup d’œil ! 👀

Dear lazyweb, I'm looking for a #mecha#anime that I saw once a few scenes of. What I remember is that it was one of those more "realistic" ones (tacticool) like Patlabor or Madox, not colorful, and that there were scenes of a Kabuki dancer with a mask, a mane of red hair, and a fan performing some sort of a summoning ritual. The dancer looked a lot like Senryo Kyoshiro from Samurai Showdown. Any ideas?
Been actually properly watching GaoGaiGar while doing exercise bike cardio lately and I fucking love this show, you’ll have the Leader and the Science Guy discussing this astounding new weapon that may be too powerful for GaoGaiGar to wield without great peril and it’s literally a mecha-scale squeaky hammer.

They were all part of the GGG France unit that was investigating some sort of international criminal syndicate which is what they're investigating at the start of final

Why do these ideas always come up when I'm working on something else? I'm aware that mashing up mecha and westerns isn't new or original. These are some ideas I'm jotting down for later. Maybe I'll run it with Lancer?
Started working on a new little MagicaCSG hard-surface modeling project.
One of the great things of working with MagicaCSG is that every element is non-destructive, so I can adjust the shapes, creases, colors et cetera at any time.
We finally did the thing! I roped my siblings into playtesting a game of Lancer using Legos and a physical tabletop. The sitrep was to destroy five buildings, marked in red, because the Karrakins were using the installation to track their mobile hidden base. #mecha#lego#LancerRPG

A kobold today! Hunched posture, mole-like claws for digging Prospector tunnels, a backpack that fires Demolitionist grenades and seismic ripper lines.
I'm not super happy with the shoulder pads; I might replace them with lil horns or something to get more of that cordyceps look that the Kobold is famous for.
