Lunchtime. I'm late, it takes me 30 minutes to prepare salads, and I was posting stuff and started late.
In the summer, I make a different salad every day, in the city, but if we don't use up some romaine and baby spinach, it will spoil.
Usually in cooler weather, I make hot lunches. I build each different from the day before. You'll never hear a disappointed, "What? Salad again?", because tomorrow's won't have the same ingredients.
Sustainability tip: instead of using and reusing plastic utensils, just go to your local thrift store and buy real forks, spoons, knives (they're usually 50 cents or at most a dollar each), and wash them. They're affordable enough you don't have to worry about losing them, no plastic leaching, and they don't break when you try to use them! #sustainability#forks#spoons#cutlery#lunch
Mom's opted for afternoon forest walk & is taking a post lunch nap now.
We had Vietnamese style bun rieu ; crab/seafood tomato soup. Mom used some frozen soft shell crabs, this time, because we don't have any dungeness right now.
Made a light salad for lunch. I'm ready to place a curbside pickup, I'm running out of salad fixings.
And stores are conveniently out of stock in value sizes, I'm not paying $6 just for one part of the salad.
Romaine isn't very good this time of year. I could eat salad every day, if we had fresh local products.
You can't afford Roblaws stores. #Salad#Lunch
The problem with drawing the little gremlin eating enchiladas, today I had to prepare some for lunch. Well, they’re actually enfrijoladas, same thing but instead of green salsa they’re covered in spicy bean salsa 😋
