As soon as Shantae Adbance was announced, I wanted to do fanart of my favorite video game character. I was also making this at a time when I was drained when it came to art and IRL. But drawing this really helped me get my groove back.
I went with a big pop-py theme, slightly inspired by Dragalia Lost while trying to keep the excitement I felt for this game's announcement. Replicating the style scene on the promo material was a lot of fun too! I did have plans for including sprites of the characters, but I did not have the passion to add it in. Tried out an opensource version of Linktree called Linkstack. I’m getting the hang of Portainer on my home lab and this took just a few minutes to spin up. 🎉
It’s fun. Major overkill for a single person, tho.
It was actually very easy to deploy! You don't even have to run terminal commands. I won't be opening registrations (sorry), but if you're looking for an alternative to linktr.ee @linkstack is a viable one - especially if you want to self-host.
