Just gave #Target feedback over my app. Their employees don't get paid enough to be in the cross hairs of Karen the fascist terf. There's got to be a solution because it's on corporate to do the right thing by the #LGBTQIA community AND their employees.
Should they hire more security? Give lifetime bans to customers who threaten Target staff?
Whatever they do they need to respect and protect the LGBTQIA community and not let their underpaid employees be shields for their corporate cowardice.

I cannot get this updated US risk map out of my mind.
In the last 6 months, half the US states have escalated anti-LGBTQ legislation to such a point that many—especially trans people—are in active danger. Florida has been designated a “don’t travel” state by Equality Florida. The NAACP also issued a no travel warning to FL for overlapping reasons, including the erasure of Black history.
If you are a cis or heterosexual person in the affected states, I hope you are doing all you can to help the LGBTQ+ communities there. I hope you are fighting for them, and helping them to move toward safety if necessary.
If you are in currently “safe” states, I hope you are doing the same.

Ask what your board of education is going to do to speak out against far-right organizers who plan to set up transphobic demonstrations with hateful placards near local schools. Not a “both sides” issue. We ALL have a responsibility to speak up for #LGBTQIA rights and safety.

In my neighboring county, a teacher is taking heat for showing a (PG rated, Disney cartoon) movie simply because it had a gay character in it. The show was Strange Worlds; the lesson was Earth Science.

it's so sad to see how even the queer community in the US doesn't seem to know about intersex people.
The existence of intersex people as a biological fact is probably the most ignored human fact in the USA which leads to hundreds of unnecessary surgeries on babies(!). All just because the parents and doctors never heard of the normality of intersexual existence...
