My 6-yr old asked one of the BIG questions the other day.
"Daddy, why do we live?"
Knowing that he's being influenced by the ubiquitous #god botherers, I responded:
"Because of #electricity, little buddy. Kind of like the lightbulbs in our house, we all have a #spark in us that runs through our #bodies and #brains. When that spark goes out, we die."
He thought a bit about that, and then came the next BIG question:
"We become a part of the electricity that runs through the entire #planet that let's everything live. Which is super important, because without that electricity, nothing would live."

Yesterday I planted carrot #seeds & today I refreshed, fertilized & added potting soil to a few pots & planted two different kinds of #onion seeds plus, since I have four different kinds of #carrot seeds, I planted a few of the kaleidoscope carrot seeds in a small pot "just for shits & grins."
This wall of historical craft beer from a southern Oregon museum was captivating. Especially their designs, which felt unfamiliar. And the names. Beer names are weird.
I am certainly glad that f***ing #PatRobertson is dead. That took way too long. Little shithead clung on for so long because he knew there was no #heaven waiting for him. Good riddance to an ugly, warped little shitraisin.
Crew is out here replacing my fence as my old one was literally falling to pieces. They're at the stage where they're removing my old one and ohhhh.... so pretty without any fence or boundary between me and the rest of nature.
