NEW this fall from yours truly and Pink Narcissus Press: THE FINAL DAYS OF KOBOLD KODY'S FRONTIER EXPOSITION AND TONIC SHOW
Cursed with clairvoyance, only Andra knows that the end is near for her employer and his traveling show. Can she save her costars? Can she even save herself?
Only if she can learn in time that not everything is what it seems
Yesterday I had the day off work (had to use up my annual leave for the year) so I made myself this scarf! I was surprised that I finished it in one day, but pleasantly so.
I've really, really been enjoying crafting intentional things for people this season. We're doing a "no-buy" year, meaning that if we do give gifts to anyone, we're using items that we either already have on hand, or that we can forage from our land, or that we can make ourselves. I'm not sure how many of my partner's family members will adhere to our request for no gifts unless they're re-gifted or handmade, but at least amongst our friends it feels really nice to not have the pressure of spending a lot of money. I'm finding also that the gifts just mean so much more to people when they know that this is something that was really thought about deeply, and made for them.
I designed this image as a Christmas card but hopefully the message is also an all-around good reminder to try to get along with people in our day-to-day life.
Baking a tray of granola. It’s a tester. (I have made it before, already tweaked.)
Gonna be my Christmas presents this year. A little bag of sweet oat love.
Maple syrup, cinnamon, white pepper, and “fancy mixed nuts.” I adore the cinnamon and white pepper combination in baked goods. But I use Ceylon cinnamon and Ceylon white pepper so they’re very fragrant and zippy.
Anyhoo, I’ll enjoy gifting this. I’ve given granola before. People love it. #gifts#cooking#food
A beautiful faux stained glass dragonfly flitting in the grasses and cattails of a wetlands pond. These little creatures are also called Mosquito Hawks because they love to feast on those pesky mosquitos. Hope you enjoy this latest creation.
He might be the black sheep of the family but he knows enough to stop and smell the flowers. This is my latest attempt to create artwork with a quilted effect...not a real quilt!
