Bei "Profil" bekommst Du Deine Beiträge angezeigt und kannst unter dem Beitrag auf "teilen" klicken - das scheint alles zu sein. Du kannst Deinem Pixelfed auch von Mastodon folgen, dann kommen die Beiträge in Deine Timeline. Von jedem Beitrag werden nur vier Fotos angezeigt.
Ich könnte hier auch noch etwas Hilfe gebrauchen! Die Bedienung bei Pixelfed erschliesst sich nicht so einfach. Wo gibt's da passende Tips? #fedihelp#followerPower#pixelfed
Can somebody help me move or fix my account it hasn't been working right for months now it started when this server used firefish but it now uses catodon.
I am unable to see any posts unless I go directly to someone's profile
When I try to move my account to my alt account on the same server or to another server it does not work this is what it says when I try to move
Does anyone of you have dedicated #Pixelfed accounts? If so, what app do you use on #Android to access it? I feel I'm having a lot of functionality issues with the #PixelDroid app I've installed via #Fdroid, though it seems to be updated regularly... #Fediverse#fedihelp

Better start looking for a Sharkey compatible iOS app I guess....IceCubes doesn't seem to support it, even though Sharkey claims to use the Mastodon API, I guess that's not enough for seemless app usage....😬

A friend told me something changed in his dreamhost co-hosted WordPress blog in 2021 and his previous posts now had encoding problems (we use lots of accented characters in Portuguese), but his current posts, after 2021 work OK.
Has anyone seen this? I'll have more information next Saturday, but I decided to ask in case it was a common, known issue...

Meine Frau hat ihr MiTab (7") irgenwie blöd fallen lassen.
Seitdem geht am oberen Bildschirmrand auf ca. Fingerbreite nichts mehr. Also Anzeige schon, nur keine Reaktion auf Touch.
Rest des Bildschirms funzt normal.
Hatte das Teil schon offen, lockere Kabel etc. oder andere offensichtliche Fehlerquellen konnte ich keine finden.
Wo kann ich noch suchen, oder was hilft?

Ich bin das Gegenteil eines Heavy-Users: Hie und da wurde mal was gewebclippt, aber über die Jahre hat sich da halt was gesammelt. #Joplin wurde vom @ibnetzwerk mal empfohlen, scheint aber ausweislich deren Forums Probleme mit dem Evernote-Import zu haben.

I get a notification when someone has requested, but I can’t seem to find how to accept or deny access.
Is this a bug or am I just missing something?
Hm. Ich suche für'n Garten ne stabile Beetumrandung für's Gemüsebeet. 20 cm hoch soll sie sein, auf individuelle Länge zuschneidbar (Standard is nich). Die Kunststoffdinger (welliges Plastik vom Meter) waren ja nur eine Übergangslösung. Einerseits soll sie stabil genug sein, um die rechteckige Form zu behalten, andererseits so flexibel, dass ich auch ne Rundung abstecken kann.
I once again repeat my call for opensource platform agnostic alternatives to #OneDrive that could work like it (I mean, on and offline access on Linux, Windows and mobile, with safety measures in place that respect the GDPR letter and spirit). Paid or not (I'll donate to libre projects of course).

In short, I need a couple of loudspeakers.
Context: since I have so many vinyls and CDs at home I decided to build a simple hi-fi system just for them (like if it was the 2000s 🙃)
I’ve found a second hand Denon avr1708 and a CD player, and I already had a ~10 years old record player. Now I just need a couple of loudspeakers but I literally have 0 idea how to choose one. I just read some infos about ohms and watts but that’s all. I’m also not much an audio expert so I don’t know which kind of “sound” should I be looking for in a speaker.
If you could suggest some specific speaker I would appreciate it, but since I’d prefer to find something second hand I’d rather like tips about what to look in a speaker, also some dos and donts when buying them second hand

OK I'm obviously doing something wrong so some #fediHelp in #probability would help here. Say I have an automaton whose cells can be in any of three states S1, S2, S3 with probability p1, p2, p3 (p1+p2+p3=1). The probability of a cell c changing from S1 to S2 depends on the neighbors being in state S2. c stays in state S1 if it's not “infected” by any of the neighbors. Say p12(c, n) is the probability of c moving from S1 to S2 if n is S2. What's the total probability of c staying in S1?
Different approach I'm considering: the probability of c being infected by n is k12(c, n) = p1(c)*p2(n)p12(c, n). So the probability of staying S1 is the complement from all neighbors \prod_n(1 - k12(c, n)), but that can't be, as it can be higher than p1(c). Should it be p1(c)\prod_n(1 - k12(c, n))? But then am I not account for p1(c) too many times? I'm obviously missing something, and being out of my element don't even know where to look things up.
