It's #Contest time again! @Blue__America asks us to join the "very serious, high-stakes" battle against the racist attacks from #AIPAC on progressives of Color, this time they're focused on kneecapping @CoriBush and @JamaalBowmanNY.
It's time for our very first Beneath the Tangles art contest! We are so excited to ask you to enter and share your creations with us and the world. The subject? Our own sometimes adorable, sometimes fierce, mascot, BtT-chan! That's right! We're teaming up with partner and friend Arthur Thurmond to roll our character (see full images below) out in a greater capacity, and this contest is the first big part of it!
About a month ago, I entered into a small "language contest" that was set to prove that no "newschool" language (Rust, Zig, Nim, etc) is ready to replace C in the embedded field.
The deadline was about 10 days ago, and according to the original technical evaluation criteria, my Free Pascal solution won, but got disqualified, because "we already know, Pascal could not replace C".
Programming languages rise and fall, human stupidity remains. I rest my case.
