Random insight into my new(ish) #comics addiction: here’s my pull list for June. I’m hoping to keep this under 10 books per month FOREVER because I’m already behind on my reading 😬
The fact that classic Marvel UK Transformers artist Geoff Senior still draws Transformers is great but even cooler is he still often draws/paints Death's Head, the character he created with Simon Furman that was first in the Transformers stories, then crossed over into Marvel UK's Doctor Who comic stories and then the Marvel superhero universe too. :O
And Senior's art style is still awesome. I love it. So dynamic :)
A beluga can change the shape of its "melon" (the bulbous mass on its head) at will. Could this be used as a form of communication? A new study indicates that it might. Here's a story from @hakaimagazine with a six-panel comic illustrating the five different melon shapes and in what contexts some are used.
It's time to resume my Sandman annual reading. Now moving along to Season of Mists. It's not my favorite arc, but it's a powerful one. If I have to choose the arcs I don't like that much, I believe A Game of You comes first, then Season of Mists, I don't know why.
