In quite the deft maneuver, the trio of elves yesterday first got the #ChristmasTree into the house during the day, somehow. Then they laid out some of the lights in strings to connect our light in the center of the room to the tree in some kind of shelf elf zipline.
Those elves are just wild.
Our youngest two really found this funny when they got home from school. Having to solo put up the tree on my lunch break was worth it for that alone.

Tree's Up 2023 - It's the first Advent Sunday of 2023 and sadly I have to report that there will be no Christmas tree on my balcony this year anymore. We finished the #ChristmasTree 🎄 today at my Grandbunparents’ home. 😊 It’s an I Spy wonderland of family memories spanning over 50 years. The lights are individual incandescent twinkle bulbs (and some bubblers) - so where there’s a dark space, the light was twinkled off at the time 😂. ❤️ -Skye
Our Christmas tree was up a whole two days before Oreo took it down, breaking one of the legs. I didn't feel like repairing it daily so Melissa found this wall design to try out. It's not quite a tree but it's festive and hopefully more cat resistant...
