I just discovered that tools like AIVA have been around for years, help create new AI generated music. Fascinating to see tools like dall-e and AIVA help in the creative process in art and music.
THURSDAY THURSDAY THURSDAY! It's an all-new, all VROOM! episode of Shujin Academy VGM Club! Join us as we listen to Barry Leitch's work on the Lotus and Top Gear series and check out some great tunes for the Amiga, SNES, and even the Nintendo 64! We'll sell you the whole seat, but you'll only need the gas pedal!
No, you're the one who after @sariash brought up #JHNStudio, had to check out their #YouTube page to view all their fantastically done #chiptunes covers of #KPop songs.
Shared this on my other socials but realised I forgot to post it here:
This is a major milestone for me! 1,010 monthly listeners. I know this number might not stay this way forever, but I'm thrilled to see I was able to go past the 1000 mark.
Do you like #KPop? Do you like #RetroGames & classic game music?
#DarnuPop does an amazing job of translating K-Pop songs into chiptunes that feels like old video game music. Additionally, they create associated videos that feel like the artist is traveling through a 16-bit beat-game.
(I know this is getting ridiculous, but I moved yet again to update my username, so another intro :blobcat_mlem:)
I'm a trans girl trying to figure herself out and be more open. :ablobcatwave:
I'm also autistic (self-ID), possibly also ADHD/Kinetic.
I'm a GNOME developer at Purism, maintaining libadwaita. I will occasionally post updates about it.
I support 🇺🇦🇦🇲🇵🇸.
Otherwise I'm into video games. Currently mostly Touhou and osu!, previously Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Crypt of the NecroDancer/Cadence of Hyrule, etc.
I also listen to a lot of video game music and their covers, and should probably be posting more about it than I did previously.
I can also talk about languages, though I almost never post about them.
Someone calling themselves Muramasa made a cover of Old-Fashioned Lover Girl from Galleria. This is my favorite track from the game so I'm super happy that I stumbled across it (yay YouTube recommendation algorithm?)
I'm surprised that any track got a cover given that I don't think the series is that popular. That's a shame because I love this series so much.
I'm a composer/pianist who writes fantasy-inspired orchestral and piano music. I share my songs on YouTube and release albums every now and then on streaming platforms.
Sometimes, I share scores in the form of videos on my YouTube channel so you can follow along with the music if you enjoy that sort of thing.
I'm currently writing the soundtrack for a video game and would like to eventually move into the world of animated film scoring (I love animation!).
I'll keep this post short and share one of my songs below.
I hope that you enjoy listening to my music, and that it carries you away to far-off worlds.
