Excellent idea to write the Thanks for providing that link. I explained that the People of the United States need the decision much sooner than April 22. And that Article IV of the constitution states that "no one, not even the President or Congress, can be above the law."

Adopting a code of ethics that explicitly purports only to be a codification of preexisting principles is an absurd response to repeated unethical conduct by a Justice who has been on the Supreme Court for a long time.

An expert on the US Supreme Court tries to make sense of today's student loan decision.

' The Supreme Court’s decision in Nebraska is not rooted in law, and it barely even attempts to resemble a legal decision. The Court overrules both elected branches. It rewrites a federal law. And it roots its decision in a fake legal doctrine with no basis in any actual legal text. '

DONT BOOST THIS! It's from Dec 2022!

I've checked this and the info from Fix the Court and Jane Mayer is true. The corrupt language protecting spouses of Supreme Court justices from income disclosure is in Section 5933 of the National Defense Authorization Act currently being considered in Congress, on pages 2543 and 2544.

This language would, among other things, protect Ginni Thomas, spouse of Justice Clarence Thomas.

The meaning of "obstruction" is ..... obstruction. Even United States Supreme Court justices ought to be able to get it. Reasoning this through should not take a lot of work.

This says it all about the border con job republicans are pushing.

“The nominee” doesn’t want the border issue settled!

Hey, Mitch, the last time I checked, the “nominee” has not been officially decided.

Why is congress being controlled and manipulated by a private citizen, running as a candidate?

Talk about racketeering!
A private citizen has absolute control over the legislative branch of government, in order to weaponize the government?

Hey, Jim Jordan. You need to open an investigation into wide-spread corruption, within the republican congress, and their candidate, who are weaponizing the federal government!

The legislative branch has a border deal, but Mitch McConnell, Mike Johnson, and Trump’s MAGA cronies don’t want to upset a CANDIDATE!

There has to be something unconstitutional there, somewhere?

Hey, US Supreme Court.
Is it unconstitutional for a political candidate to have absolute control over the legislative branch of the federal government?

politicalfinger,

The US Senate must hold Mitch McConnell in contempt of congress!

He admitted he won’t pass the border deal, at the request of a private citizen!

Talk about Separation of Powers!
Trump isn’t even part of any branch of the federal government!

Checks and balances are designed to root out corruption.

Congress cannot be controlled by a private citizen. That is the epitome of corruption, and McConnell put it in writing!

Not as it exists in the fairy tales of anti-abortion activists but in its actual existence—porous, fluid, and fragile."
