"The Harvard graduating students denied their degrees over Palestine protest"
"The decision by Harvard to delay degrees for 13 students for one year has caused outrage at the university & a mass walkout from its graduation ceremony.
"Harvard Corporation barred these students from receiving their degrees... on account of their involvement in the three-week pro-Palestine encampment at the university last month."
You had better fucking take a good, hard look at what is happening in the polls in the EU right now and start holding your blood-soaked crypt-keeper accountable for his participation in ethnic slaughter.
Unless you're okay with all of the dead Muslim mothers, children, infants and newborns.
"The population of Gaza, sealed off from the world, is facing a death sentence following the long-time denial of aid". It is a genocide.
Finkelstein also discusses the Hamas attack, the current misuse of terms, the student protests, the international silence, the ICJ & the ICC - the last known as the "International Caucasian Court" - set up by the west to punish African, not white, leaders.
There's a good kind of politics that should be called civics. The bad part of politics is just manipulating people in order to amass power (vs corporate PR to make money etc). They want to control us and here they are very concerned that this has now become much harder to do. I don't want Trump elected again and I hate that people will always sometimes vote based on bad information but I can't stand these people treating us like children. #uspol https://pca.st/episode/45c8a4b5-3a0e-4e07-a1c3-0ac79b08c4f6
"The population of Gaza, sealed off from the world, is facing a death sentence following the long-time denial of aid – primarily food, water, fuel & medical supply.... Israel is carrying out a genocide in Gaza”.
Finkelstein also discusses the international courts, the ICJ & ICC - the latter known as the "International Caucasian Court" set up by the west to punish African, not white, leaders.
"June 8 marks 8 months of US-Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people, and marks the 54th anniversary of the occupation of Gaza.
"Biden can’t draw the line, but we can.
"We demand an immediate ceasefire, an immediate end to the siege on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners, & an end to the occupation of Palestine."
”My days working for the City of San Antonio’s homeless outreach division were spent navigating the epicenter of converging crises—historical and structural racism, the War on Drugs, and late stage capitalism.”
What most sucks about hating #Trump (for great reasons) is that lots of his supporters are working class and disrespected by the elites, so mocking him can feel like punching down. And then saying they shouldn't support him comes off as telling them they're stupid. It's a no-win situation for leftists who put economics first, and most want to improve the situation of these same people, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation. #uspol
• 272K jobs added in May
• Total of 15.6 million jobs added under Biden
• Women's employment rate hits another high in May
• 30 straight months of unemployment rate at or below 4%
• Prime-working-age labor force participation at 22-year high
• Wages up 4.1% over past year, significantly faster than 3.4% inflation
I get real sick of some of the purity-testing lefty bullshit on here and then I run into a buzzsaw of "you support GENOCIDE OF JEWS" comments elsewhere for supporting Biden's restraint of Netanyahu's government and it's like "oh yeah. It's all fucking terrible, now I remember. All the time. All of it."
I wasn't going to link to this here, but now I am, because what the commenter replied to isn't even primarily about Gaza, it's mostly about how you reward - or punish - politicians with the granting and removal of power.
Even so, just supporting Biden's restraint as an illustration was enough to get me accused of supporting genocide of Jews.
