There's a website that sells three kinds of Trump sneakers, Trump cologne, and Trump perfume. But none of those items currently exists.
You have to pay in full, in advance, and no refunds will be offered. The "expected shipping dates" for the items start in June. The site says that the photos on the site are only approximations, and the actual items that you receive may differ.
Trump is not selling the sneakers himself. He licensed his name to "45Footwear LLC," an entity that was newly incorporated in Wyoming, on January 31.
If you pre-order the sneakers, you'll be sending your money to that LLC. There's no way to know who's actually getting your money. The only contact listed for the LLC is its lawyer, Cloud Peak Law. Which is actually just one lawyer, Mark Pierce, and a guy named Andrew Pierce who works for him.
Wyoming is a haven for scams like "Trump Sneakers," because, as WaPo reported in 2022, "In Wyoming, the owners of LLCs are not required to identify themselves... Companies established in the state have been listed in lawsuits alleging medical fraud in Russia, tax dodging in Hungary and bank theft in Zimbabwe..."
Trump Sneakers may never exist. And the money that's "buying" them could be going anywhere in the world.
