Eventually managed to climb this and found out I had to go in another direction. :/
REALLY hope that by the time I have to go through here again I got a double-jump or some other ability to make it easier, because this was incredibly frustrating.
Still have absolutely no idea why half the time the wall-jumping worked and half the time it just flapped its hands an fell down.
I've been playing Momodora Moonlit Farewell lately and liking it so far. It's a metroidvania on steam, and I believe it's their fourth game in the series.
Reverie under the moonlight was their previous game and I beat that one on insane difficulty, where any damage instantly kills you.
When I saw the screenshots I thought of the game as just a Blasphemous rip-off, but then I played the demo... and I was blown away. The game has a very distinct personality, and the platforming was extremely fun and satisfying to pull off.
And only now, when checking the KS campaign page, I've realized it's being made by a Spanish studio!
Will be going live on #Twitch at 1:30 AM CST the plan is to finish Shantae I feel I am close. Please boost this post as I'm a #SmallStreamer and raids are greatly appreciated.
It's the sequel thread, and this time I'll do it right!
I'll reply to this thread every time I "finish" playing a video game this year. That could mean getting to the end of the story it tells, or just getting to a point where I think I've experienced what the game has to offer me.
By "doing it right" I mean that I won't forget about the part where I don't actually have to play to what would be considered the end of the game.
#RebelTransmute had some neat accessibility options I suddenly realized that I want to talk about.
Whenever you want, you can toggle options for if environmental hazards should deal damage and for automatic refill of the game's "mana" equivalent.
You can also grant yourself up to three (I believe) extra health containers.
I ended up using the extra health and mana/energy against a boss or two that were particularly visually overwhelming, and disabled hazard damage entirely.
