#RogerCorman was a cinematic pioneer in another way with his 1994 #FantasticFour movie: making a whole superhero film and then not releasing it. A huge influence on the producers of Batgirl.
New episode! This week we're talking about Amalgam Comics, the publisher that mashed up DC and Marvel comic characters! So it only makes sense to honor our show format and create a very special Dollar Bin Discovery episode with the help of a special guest expert!
Social media is buzzing with people who are outraged that the first #MCU Silver Surfer is a woman. This is stupid, because we already know this version of the FF doesn't take place in our universe. People just LOVE to be mad. 😅
Marvel has finally confirmed casting for the "Fantastic Four" movie, releasing a teaser poster that showed Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) and Ebon Moss Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). The director will be Matt Shakman, who also directed "WandaVision" and has worked on shows like "Fargo" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." For the A.V. Club, lapsed Marvel fan Matt Schimkowitz writes about his hope that this new iteration will course correct the tired MCU. "Is looking at this poster the most fun I’ve had with the MCU since that "Shang-Chi" bus sequence? Yes. Yes, it is," he writes. What's your opinion of the casting?

Goodness. When #DanSlott's #FantasticFour amazing run ended, I braced for a mediocre to fine run by the new team. But that was very not the case. I- am- STILL blown away by this current team. #RyanNorth knows these chars, and does amazing things with their powers. And #IvanFiorelli's art executes that on-point. And one hell of a return to science heroism.
