Hey! It's been a minute. Lots of memorializing this weekend. Around here, the memories never seem to cease... here's a bit of our Hall of Fame, a couple of vintage Jet magazines, new stories about Lovecraft's old ones, a bestseller, an old parish cookbook, and an '80s TV tie-in! Don't forget, we've got vintage comics, movies, and a whole lot more!

Sex & relationship advice in the 1970s was vastly superior to that of the '50s, which were better than the '30s... We should know. We've been here the whole time!

The Eiger Sanction was also a 1975 mountain-climbing action film produced, starring, & dir. by Clint Eastwood, who did most of his own stunts.

Even Nostradamus didn't predict I'd spend so much time 2024 with Westerns, Horseback Riding, Harness Racing, & Horse Care. I rode a horse once–part of Summer camp, a Scout badge, or something like that... My jam is sci-fi. Maybe it's time I rewatch that space Western series, Firefly.

Art & Logic are not mutually exclusive, though they do occasionally exist in isolation, to their own detriment. I believe there is artfulness in everything. Logic often finds that even chaos has order if we can look close enough. Perhaps, after all, they're really part of the same thing.

Here's a book feat. some of Earth's own weird flora & another about Humanity's early attempts to learn what's "out there," beyond our barely understood planet. This book combo also reminds me of the fictional film Capricorn One, about a conspiracy to fake the Moon landings, starring James Brolin; whose son Josh was the alien Thanos in the MCU.

Part of our toy collection. This pair is not identical, but close. It's a 3-D pair! 1st, open the image in full-screen; it won't work when cropped. It helps to be a bit further from your screen than usual. Relax your eyes and let the two sides come together. It will look like there are 3 pictures instead of two. When I'm forgetful sharing our new arrivals it's because I'm working on inventory that's too hot for social-media, rearranging shelves, or some other job that isn't very photogenic. Here's a pic of our sci-fi/fantasy shelves–in need of a refill. The empty spot on the shelves is where Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series was; I'll have to be on the lookout for refills.
