Look like Beats has a new earbuds model out in June, the $79 Beats Solo Buds. These entry level buds have a very compact case and 18 hours of battery life on a single charge. The case does not charge the buds on the go. No ANC. Might be great for a podcast junkie like me who only wears one bud for most of the day (b/c situational awareness). I wish more brands would come out with waterproof buds though. #headphones#earbuds#BeatsbyDre#BeatsSoloBuds#Applehttps://www.beatsbydre.com/earbuds/solo-buds/MUVY3/solobuds-stormgray
The Fairbuds noise-canceling earbuds have an easily swappable battery

The new Galaxy Buds FE fit me better than any earbud ever. The wing design is perfection. I've never had buds fit like this. My ear canals are tiny and buds never stay in my ears without constant readjusting. These lock in tight. :ablobmeltsoblove:
These things cost $100 and absolutely embarrass my Pixel Buds Pro in fit, audio quality, and ANC.
Mastodon brain trust: does anyone have good #Bluetooth#workout#earbuds that do not require installing an app?
Seeking: reliable pairing with #Android, decent sound, sweat proof, reasonable battery life
Nice to have: noise cancelation
Don't care about: mic, audio customization
I accidentally killed my ancient JLab Epic Sport BT earbuds with a connecting wire - and of course nobody makes that anymore. (If I'm wrong about that, please let me know!!) So I've resigned myself to independent earbuds at this point and am looking for a replacement that Just Works - pairs reliably, doesn't drop out, doesn't get out of sync... Any recommendations greatly appreciated!
OnePlus is bringing some price disrupting tech to their earbuds, and the Buds 3 might be a better fit for you than the more expensive Buds 2 Pro released last year!
I found out V-Moda discontinued my all time favorite earbuds the Zn I’ve used for many years. I think since Roland bought them they’ve been slowly killing off the earbud line. So now I’m shopping for IEM’s for when these start to go as they’re a few years old and used daily with my iPod classic.
I’m looking at the 7Hz Timeless AE IEM’s as they don’t seem too expensive and the reviews say it has decent bass for my hip hop, dance, and club music. #music#audiophile#IEM#earbuds
Y'all I think my new #earbuds (JLab Go $25 from Target) might be powered by demons. As I previously mentioned I have not charged the case again since I bought them about a month ago. Last night I left the airbuds out of the case overnight. Still at 100%.
EXACTLY. I literally cannot wear in-ear #earbuds, for comfort reasons and also to avoid fatigue and dizziness. It drives me insane how there aren't many of them, and not many of them are good. #Apple's regular #EarPods are comfortable (to my ears), but they don't last long despite how expensive they are. There are other cheap ones that are similar and work fine, but none that comes to mind that I'd recommend. Apple's #AirPods might be the only/best non in-ear buds there is rn, but if you use it too often, I cannot stomach having to dispose of the AirPods after a couple of years (after 1 year even) when its battery gets scuffed. This is probably true for any wireless earphones (maybe even headphones).
I have to say though, as someone who's anti in-ear earphones my whole life, #AirPodsPro has my approval. I don't know what magic they pulled (it's apparently partly has to do with the vents) but wearing them in your ears, + enable the bud's Transparency mode (which until today is still the ONLY good transparency/awareness mode to exist even compared to other expensive, much bigger #headphones like #Sony's XM line and #Bose's QC line), you will literally feel like you're not wearing anything - comfort-wise AND most importantly, hearing-wise. You will hear ur surroundings not 1db quieter, or louder, it's really that natural sounding.
Despite feeling like you're not wearing anything in your ears though, and it is THAT comfortable, it will still hurt the insides of ur ears if u wear it all day/night. But that could just be me, since I have earphones on even while sleeping. My only complaint I have of the AirPods Pro though other than the pain I sometimes get after extremely long use, is that I find it... pretty quiet. I'm not sure if it's true, but it certainly feels quieter even when compared to my regular AirPods Gen 1. The mic is pretty meh too if that matters, the mic on the regular wired EarPods is significantly better.
"They don't support active noise cancellation!" the reviewer shouts, gesticulating wildly.
No, because there is no seal with your ear canal, rendering such a feature pointless. This is physics, not a poor product choice.
"Okay, but they don't sound as good as my favourite thing that I have to screw deep into my lugholes."
That's just physics again.
"Okay, but these are expensive, so I should recommend an alternative. How about... some other thing that you'll have to dig into your scull."
No.
Some people (myself included) don't like their hearing being completely blocked off, reliance on a transparency mode that is probably terrible, the physical discomfort of something penetrating in towards their eardrum, having to try several sets of first-and-third-party tips, and the endless fiddling to get a good fit. Stop trying to sell #AirPods Pro to those people. However rare a more open design might be, it is a legitimate product category in its own right. Comparing it to something it isn't aiming to be, every single time, is not helpful.
Bought some Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Adaptive Noise Cancelling Earbuds
I did say a few months ago I would absolutely not buy another pair of earbuds like the Apple EarPods (mine only lasted a month past the warranty date) or the Samsung Earbuds, as they just seem so overpriced for something where you can’t replace the battery. T ...continues
I was a little anxious seeing Poly (formerly Plantronics) deliver "business" focused true wireless earbuds. Are these the total package for work AND play? https://somegadgetguy.com/b/3tn
Treat your ears!
As my #wireless#earbuds were dying, I decided to order a new pair. The new ones required to be paired through an App on #Android. This made me feel very uncomfortable and thus I decided to return them and instead order some basic wireless earbuds that just pair through bluetooth.
Am I the only person bothered by this sort of thing?
The left earbud in my Sony WF1000-XM4's can no longer hold a charge for over an hour, instead of the usual 3-4 hours. This sucks. I love the ANC and sound quality.

If you're in a different room, a #WhiteNoise machine might mask the sound enough to provide you some relief. The only other thing I can think of is listening to music through snug-fitting #earbuds.
