We’ve got a few new designs of Foxley Talent t-shirts for this year and a new special giveaway for our stand come and see us at the conference to collect yours!
The countdown is truly on now! We can’t wait to get to Spain and see everyone. 🇪🇸
Gonna be working on my #djangocon talk proposals this afternoon. I’ve got at least one idea I’m working on, but if there’s something you’d like to see me pitch lmk!
@carlton@djangoconeurope I won't be there, but I'd love to see a talk from a meet up organizer on the benefits of a meet up in a virtual world, their current situation, what they're experimenting with and what they could use help with. Not sure if that's worthy of a keynote though.
The 1st ever #DjangoCon#Africa held in #Tanzania 🇹🇿 last month faced funding issues and subsequently organizing and logistical problems because the #PythonSoftwareFoundation delayed in deciding to approve the organizers’ grant request.
The Grants Working Group could not decide so it was escalated to the PSF Board, who also couldn’t approve in September due to safety concerns (LGBT+ is criminalized in Tanzania).
Well done to the social managers of DjangoCon Africa for the total coverage of the conference here on the Fediverse. 👏
Sharing images and information live during a conference is a demanding job and I know it well. 😅
For those like me who were unable to participate in this first DjangoCon Africa in person, it is wonderful to be able to follow everything that happens in Zanzibar. 🌍
@paulox@djangoconafrica I've made an aggregation of all the #djangoconafrica posts. Cool if you want to see which posts got the most stars or who the top posters were!
@webology beautiful photos as usual. 🤩
It's always nice to see the moments captured by Bartek. ✨
I reiterate that we should use all DjangoCon photos on the djangoproject.com website 💡
