@protonprivacy I see. So you need to update your "We believe in the power of open source" page as soon as possible.
To make it clear the Proton Calendar apps aren't open source yet.
To link to the relevant GitHub repositories/orgs (it doesn't make sense for the GitHub link for Proton Drive to just link to the Proton Mail org if the app's code isn't there).
Also what's up with having multiple GitHub orgs for Proton's code? Wouldn't it make more sense to move everything under a single org?
@tobiaalberti Thank you for your feedback, it will be passed on to the team. Regarding your last question: we have different teams working on different services and they have different approaches to publishing the code. However, we're working on making this process more uniform in the future.
@OliverNoble That's a good idea👍 , although a faff. What fan heater are you using (I haven't got one)? I stopped using spray chemical deicer years ago but still do the freezing hands bit. Fortunately I can knit mittens so can change for fresh ones if my mitts get soggy! Got any ideas for when you're on the go.
Proton Drive, the end-to-end encrypted cloud storage app, is getting more like Google Drive. The Android version of the app now lets you automatically back up and manage the photos on your phone.
Somethings I notice when I #walk rather than #drive
The smell of cooking coming from houses.
People's gardens
Caterpillars making their way across the pavement.
The scent of hedgerows and grass verges after the rain.
Squirrels darting up trees.
Who drinks too much on recycling day.
And this time of year - all the lovely Christmas decorations.
OK, so deleting inactive account data is one thing (well, two if you mean Gmail and Photos) but now people are reporting six months of Google Drive data has vanished. Active Google Drive accounts.
My story at Forbes has been updated this morning with the details.
@mkj Worth noting this is a separate issue to the inactive account deletion policy one. This is apparently impacting a number of Google Drive users with active accounts, not those flagged for deletion. It will be interesting to see what Google can determine is the cause of this, as extremely worrying for anyone who relies solely on Drive for storage (bad idea, and why my data sits across multiple secure on and offsite platforms)
