The German climate movement is falling apart over Palestine
"Mainstream German climate activists are doubling down on their support for Israel. As a result, majority-white groups like Fridays for Future (FFF) Germany, Ende Gelaende, and Extinction Rebellion (XR) Germany have weakened, while groups consisting of or led by people of colour with a focus on decolonialism in climate justice are becoming more prominent."
RW #Media & groups step up the lies & #disinformation, but thankfully for Dems, they're losing their touch. Their judgement is misguided. Dolly is universally beloved, esp. by Gen X & seniors & Gen Z & millennials are concerned about #climatechange. Defending #TFG is⬆️fraught.

"Coldplay has announced that they have reduced their touring carbon footprint by 59% compared with their previous world tour – via some creative methods that include kinetic dancefloors that allow dancing fans to generate electricity, recyclable LED wristbands and the band travelling by train."
Good on you, Coldplay. It's chill to see meaningful reductions in CO2 emissions while still providing a great experience. It shows we have low cost ways to fight #ClimateChange.
"The European Union's #Copernicus Climate Change Service said last month was the hottest May in recorded history — the 12th consecutive month in which the monthly high temperature record was broken.
It was also the 11th consecutive month where the global average temperature was at least 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial average."

Victoria and Justin Huang, two 17-year-olds from Texas, designed a system that filters microplastic particles out of water using ultrasound waves. #ClimateChange
How one of the most famous architects in the world treats urban space – Chipperfield‘s Kunsthaus Zürich. This whole generation of stone-loving neo-classic architects is a disaster for urban development in times of climate crisis. #architecture#climatechange#urbanism#museum
A new study suggests that the loss of plant species due to climate change and human activities could release vast amounts of stored carbon into the atmosphere, potentially accelerating climate change.
The researchers estimate that losing plant diversity worldwide could release up to 146 billion metric tons of carbon from vegetation, equivalent to more than 12 years of global car emissions.
