👟Double duty today! I'm not only walking, but also volunteering as a walking marshall for the 28th Annual Mother's Day Walk for Peace 💟 in #Boston! It's going to be a fun-filled day with food, music, and a strong sense of community. 😅🎵☀️
Let's come together as a united front against gun violence! We can send a powerful message for peace and safety in our communities.🕊️

The Big Dig was traumatic, and #Boston still has kind of a public works hangover, but it really was that hard. I remember during its second decade a friend in San Francisco asking, "What's up with that?!?" I explained by asking her to imagine that 101 was converted into a tunnel, running under its current route the whole way it runs through the city, avoiding other tunnels, WITHOUT CLOSING 101. She looked blank and said, "You couldn't do that."
In a special fill-in show this (5/8/24) evening from 8-9pm, I'm revisiting some of the music of my youth, including songs from the first albums I purchased. Broadcasting on WMBR Cambridge 88.1 FM, streaming on https://wmbr.org, and available for 2 weeks in our archive.
