Added #kosh to the cast. I liked him very much till the reveal... You know ... And if not: Go watch the #show. Even with it's poorly aged CGI #Babylon5 is still amazing!
My biggest question about the #Babylon5 universe is do professional sports test for psychic abilities since you know you might be able to tell what route the opposing receiver is gonna run.
At around the 48 minute mark it's all about the #VFX of #Tron - the optical compositing, rotoscoping and CGI. Watch the whole thing for interviews with a young Bruce Boxleitner (of #Babylon5 fame).
I'm watching #Babylon5 and we're near the end of season 1.
Definitely discount DS9 so far. They sure did include an episode where the creepy 50-something alien dude decided to introduce another character to strip clubs and gambling, and the way he cheats at poker is using some sort of prehensile sticky tentacle-like appendage to reach across under the table and steal cards from the dealer.
Later confirmed, yes. That sure was a sex organ.
I'm glad that kind of humor has mostly died.
@Artemis201 "discount DS9"? Well, in one sense you are correct. JMS didn't have #StarTrek money. Esp. after he pitched #Babylon5 to Trek producers (and he had spent years pitching B5 everywhere) and they said no and then they went and created a show based on a space station anyways, with almost the same general story arc, and even stole the name Dukat. So, no, #B5 didn't have Trek money. The irony is #StarTrekDS9 is the best Trek series of them all and it was completely plagiarized.
More #Babylon5 thoughts. We just got to season 2 and the show has dramatically improved, though it was a pretty low bar.
I do notice that every single female character is always wearing intense lipstick at all times, including all the aliens and also the lady in the hospital who just woke up from a 100-year cryo sleep.
Man the 90s were weird.
Trying to watch the #Babylon5 Blu-rays with my mom (her first rewatch in easily 25 years! Exciting!) but the tv and Blu-ray player won't play together nicely. The TV keeps stretching the image. I have selected all options other than "auto-fill" in the settings but it keeps getting reset. Tried all the settings for the player, too. TV and player are both Philips.
