Same Page librairies only lend their audio books for 2 weeks, which is a bit tight for some longer ones.
I squeaked through "The Vanishing Half" by Brit Bennett with about 2 minutes to spare before it was to expire, by listening at 1.25x speed.

Ich habe jetzt schon das fünfte AI-generierte Hörbuch im Google Playstore auf den Weg gebracht, diesmal mit einer weiblichen, jungen Stimme. Zwar hört man noch immer den maschinellen Charakter heraus, doch die Stimmen werden fortlaufend besser und die Hörbücher dann automatisch angepasst. I get greedy with Audiobooks. At first, it's just a book a week, then it's a book a day, then you're downloading the entire year of audiobooks to listen to.. <sigh> but they are good books. I've still got 16 hours left on my current book, and I saw this mentioned.. So, I got it too.
