Quandary: my Apple ID is linked to the UK, though I'm physically in the EU 50% of the time. I need to link my Apple ID to the EU in order to be able to install the #AltStore app store. But this could really mess up my (UK-based) family settings, not to mention existing subs, media purchases, etc. In short: fuck Brexit

I understand that not everyone wants quote boosts. I’m aware of the arguments that it enables negative behaviour. I don’t accept those arguments and I find quote boosting integral to the way I prefer to use these microblogging platforms. So I’m impatient to see its full implementation on Mastodon. In the meantime, I find myself using Bluesky more, as it’s a better fit for how I prefer to post and engage.
