Do folks have any Atari ST thoughts/opinions they want to share? I know almost nothing about the ST (other than that it had MIDI ports). Feel free to post thoughts/opinions below!
I've been accidentally obsessed this week with the Atari ST's operating system. Choice details include the project being started by a "loose cannon", porting it across while it was still being written, and of course not using version control.

Tantalus was a complex 3D space sim for #Amiga, #AtariST + #PC in 1991, where you could play solo or via multiplayer. Due for release in 1992 by Electronic Arts, it just disappeared without a trace. Can anything of it be found? Here is our new entry:

The Atari ST used the GEM "Graphical Environment Manager" for its desktop UI and this cute little 6x6 font deviated from the usual GEM one to provide something that felt compact but without too much compromise.
