I have serious issues with YouTube comments: they are used to spread so much misinformation and lies.
For example, for my latest video, many people have said that I am lying about emergency vehicles being able to go through the knip. Even though I literally SHOW FOOTAGE of emergency vehicles going through the knip.
This is a common lie being told about the project online.
Featured speaker this time was Euro Member of Parliament @kimvsparrentak who passionately spoke on the need for a more free Internet detached from #bigTech and more focussed on #Democracy and real #Social interaction.
When confronted with her presence on X and Insta, and the lack of active presence here on the #Fediverse we promised to help her.
Please help us get a decent follower-base here and follow her account right now, before she even gets a chance to get more active. A follower base of more than a 1000 people will surely help her convince her party members to spend time and money on a real presence here.
I really wish that the #Berlin city council would visit #Amsterdam and other #Dutch cities so they could see that cities become more livable (and commerce actually blooms) if you decrease the amount of cars in town. This goes doubly so for the new #CDU majority fraction of the council.
But no, instead they scrap all plans for #cycle paths, remove already existing ones, and really want to make the city as car friendly as possible.
