This Fediverse Software Comparison chart from https://calckey.org/#comparison is great. I'd love to see a similar chart for developers. Comparison of API endpoints, OAuth support, etc.
Je suis ravi de partager avec vous mon futur service de gestion d'API 🚀

After doing a little bit of investigating, it looks like the easiest, cheapest way of adding a news feed to our "What Works" website is to reactivate our Twitter account. Doing it through Mastodon would require more money so we could install the Mastodon plug-in — or switching to a hosting service, which isn't as cheap as I had assumed and comes with a learning curve. Thoughts?
The thing that is really appealing to me here is the sandbox nature of the #API. If you are any good in a command shell it is so cool. I use #PowerShell (#Ubuntu). I am working on a bot to auto block thegx follow requests. Making it more useful than that though. I’m thinking a way of looking at the requester and interrogating their account. Were they created today? Do they have a default avatar? No posts? Does their name appear in my blocked/mute list? #Scripting
Couldn't resist and updated the generation process overview into a neat table with step status and progress icons for my #php#openapispec (#REST) #API#client generator. Could use some styling but it looks pretty decent now. Limited FPS to one because it makes no sense to update it for every single generated class:
And there is wide diversity in Mastodon. Try fediverse, look into the new apps finding ways to join in.
This is the no money, no billionaires, no advertising, no planned intended surveilance, free to make your own replacement for a forty four billion dollar company.
It didnt take 45 billion dollars to beat Elron. <-----
It took smart and free and walking away. There is a lesson here.
With this news, I think I am pretty much done with #Twitter. I was following a couple of feeds in @Inoreader and now that the #API changed and support ended in Inoreader, that's pretty much at an end for me.
