Another one of those "not the most interesting animation in the world" kinda deals, but considering that I just systematically broke (uhhh, I mean... rebuilt) all the key parts of my tools, I'm really just ecstatic this worked.
...but then I'm like.... what if I attach my Skew node to this? Aaaand what if I then have a Sine Loop animating the Skew? And what if I do that to all possible Skew planes simultaneously?
After a few tutorials, this is my first solo project!
I’m super happy that I learned enough to create something.
I took inspiration from Gourmet Revelations cat food 🐱
Afternoon mograph. Happy little space maggots, flipping as they float. Continuing to experiment with using Curve Deform to animate point clouds, and using the curve's twist to add some spice here.
I'm also mixing the animation down, which makes the nature of the movement less apparent, and a little more organic. A while back, I added Mix sliders to most of my nodes, and it's a continually surprising and useful feature. "Do this... but a little less." #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
I made this one last new year's eve. Just got it out of the box for a re-oiling and even though it's not a terribly exciting design, it's still one of my favourites. Maybe because it's eyes aren't wonky for a change*.
Evening mograph. I really dunno what. Hey, watch me compress this crumpled piece of paper into glowing eldritch energy, while the pebbles scattered around grow into rather angry crystals. #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
On a fun-er note, I've started pulling together all the Battlezone figures I'd been modelling and printing in one place so that people can grab them and print their own if they are so inclined.
