I drive an EV. I do not suggest that others drive an EV. It's the car for me, it might not be the car for you. Despite this, I have a friend that constantly engages in discussion with me on why I won't be able to convince her to get an EV.
I have never tried to convince anyone to get one! I'm not sure why she does this.

I'm not religious. Whether someone else is religious is their business. I don't care beyond what ever they try to compell me to do becuase of it. Same friend both tells me I won't convince her to become non religious while trying to convert me.
I grew up in a Christian Family! I had the owner of Chick Fil-A as a Sunday school teacher. I am familiar with Christianity, but not convinced. I'm not trying to deconvince anyone else.

Bei Greenpeace gibt es zu dem Thema #CCS einige Infos. Vielleicht, wenn auch natürlich von der "grünen" Betrachtungsweise aus, wirken diese erhellender. Aber sehr wahrscheinlich kennst Du die Argumente bereits.
@OurParadise@ZDF Ja, allerdings auch bezeichnend, wenn ein Argument die lange Bauzeit ist, die Umweltverbände selbst durch Klagen herbeiführen. Es gibt wichtige kritische Argumente, aber die Betrachtung der Alternative, dass Millionen Tonnen CO2 sonst trotz aller Anstrengungen in der Atmosphäre und im Meer landen werden, kommt bei diesen Listen immer zu kurz oder fehlt.

As with Apple, I see a lot of the mainstream press (especially) regurgitating BYD's marketing spin with no critical analysis.
BYD is touting decent EV range combined with remarkable fuel range to acheive that 1300 mile range. But they haven't indicated how they tested. Is that city driving? highway? a combo? Top speed? (1/2)

Just because it's what we're used to, there's no reason passenger air travel has to look like a train with wings and jet engines, whether it runs on kerosene, electric batteries, or something else. It's been fascinating hearing a bit about new, natively-electric passenger vehicle ideas like Seagliders (Wing-in-Ground effect vehicles) and eVTOL (electric Vertical TakeOff and Landing).
We had brief power outage and I was weirdly excited because I got to test out the V2L feature from our Ioniq5 EV 😎
💡 V2L: vehicle-to-load, it lets you draw electricity from the EV's battery, without needing to start the vehicle.
I bought the adapter a year ago but didn't have any reason to use it. Now that I know it works, I'm gonna keep it in the frunk for whatever emergency reasons.

The third shirt I've bought from @show 's swag store. I agree with the sentiment that we need to make #EV charging more equitable but I mostly bought this one because it's a map of Chicago and that's where my wife is from.
