If WSFS is not capable of doing anything to resolve the endless failures of each individual Worldcon, some of them horrifically bad to the point of irreparable reputational damage, then perhaps we've reached a point at which this institution should be put out of its misery.

What is the point of you if you can't do anything and your only argument is "we can't do anything"? You might as well not exist...

As far as I am concerned, there is no return to legitimacy for the Hugo Awards if any Worldcon can decide without explanation to declare nominees ineligible (when they actually are) and face no consequences.

Unless this is fixed, the Hugo Award is dead.

For the start of both Caribbean Folklore Month and Black Speculative Fiction Month, I highly recommend the anthology Whispers from the Cotton Tree Root, edited by the inimitable Nalo Hopkinson, for lovers of fantasy, Caribbean stories, and folklore. Go on and treat your shelf!

I'd like to play some games w/ my mom on stream, but she's not a huge gamer and we both want stuff like Golf With Friends or what not for the lolz.
