The #aynOdin runs #Android unless I'm mistaken, but the upcoming #aynLoki is going to have a #ryzen chipset so I wonder what OS it will use. It's probably going to be a #SteamOS or some custom #Linux build. Thing is, I mainly want it for #emulation of #retrogames, namely #Wii, and #PS2/PS3. Might be better off getting a #SteamDeck?

I would wish that more websites would really only use if it is absolutely necessary. If it is used for very simple tasks or just for a component mechanism it makes everything much slower... Sounds like I should write a blogpost and prepare a conference talk, but there's not enough time 🙈

@danrot @evrys I mind having to re-write an entire app because the architect didn't have the foresight to prepare for interactivity

@danrot @evrys it's not impossible, but you will need to render some DOM and you will have to do that in the same way that you do on the server, thus duplicating code. Eventually you will be rendering DOM with JS, so just get over it and write it in JS first. Can't tell you how many times I've seen this play out. You don't want to have to sync PHP and JS templates.
