@imyke Ive tried every friggin budget app ever. Including temporarily my own in 2012. For me the only viable options are:

Lunchmoney.app - no native app, but best fit for me due to extremely great rules, which lessen ongoing load, fam sharing, and P&L view
Copilot - super native
Monarch - great for family, not the best charts,

A bit outside of my usual remit for a recommendation but I’ve been really enjoying the Perkins Builder Brothers channel on YouTube. There is something endlessly engaging to me about watching master craftsmen practice their craft. There have been more lessons applicable to my work as a programmer/designer than I would have initial thought. Some practices of craftsmanship are universal.

Spitball idea for iOS: When doing a screen recording, automatically turn on Do Not Disturb for the duration of the recording.

So many times when I’m recording my screen, say, to have a video to send a developer with a bug report, the recording gets ruined by an incoming notification.

M3: ~3000/~11,700 (if these are real)
M2: ~2600/~9700
M1: ~2300/~8300

Looks great! A 30–40% improvement over three years is remarkable, especially for such a low-power and low-cost chip.

First draft of an iOS app icon I've been working on for https://incident.io. Still need to iron out some rough edges in the curves at the tip of the fire, experiment with some background color themes, and rework the match in the center to better integrate it.

Here is yet another example of how bad Slack is at working with emoji.

I frequently type ‘:la’ to start an auto complete to get a laughing emoji: 🤣

However recently it has decided to begin the results with country flags. For some reason picking the ‘la' out of the word ‘flag’ as the first autocomplete.

I’m surprised the setup process for every new iPhone still asks whether you want to use FaceID with a mask when 99+% of people aren’t wearing face masks any more. There are lots of features that a small percentage of people use, but they don’t get asked in the device setup process.
