We're a long way from anything like this happening, but, man, seeing Threads profiles light up here conjures a potential future where you might follow Instagram, TikTok, maybe even YouTube accounts and more right from Ivory. How much better could it be to be able to repost or quote-post the /original source item/ instead of a link to some external site every time. ActivityPub all the things!
I feel like I post this every few months, but: is there a launcher for #Android AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to the latest #Pixel Launcher, but lets me use a different search engine?

• Combined app/web search
• Very little customizability because good defaults
• Smooth animations/integration w/Recents
• Ability to turn off Google Discover feed
• Simple gestures (⬇️ notifications, ⬆️ all apps)
I clicked on a video on YouTube (about the mental health of men), and now I'm being fed Andrew Tate and Jordan Petersen videos.
Like, c'mon.
That's no good. That's not only unhelpful, but going in the wrong direction.
At this stage, 𝑰 might need to make a YouTube account just to give a better nudge to the algorithm. I'm not mental health expert, but, jeeze, there's gotta be something better than 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔.
