@BGStatsApp Is there a way to share a list of all games for a given filtering (status, tag, etc)? I’ve tagged a number of games to sell, but I can’t seem to find a way to simply share a list of them to email myself.

Pulled #SpiritIsland down from the shelf today for the first time in ages to play a two-handed solo game, and I finally won a game! To be fair I’d only played fully solo before, but having a second spirit to balance things out was huge.

Played a few games of #TuringMachine this morning with old man Tarzan keeping me company. The standard difficulty challenges were enjoyable, but the harder verifier cards are confusing and throwing me for loops. (I believe that they only verify one criteria for the given challenge? Not sure…) Regardless, puzzles are good for the brain!

Managed to get an indirect glimpse of the #eclipse via my trusty pasta colander! The holes were bigger than I’d prefer but we still got a fascinating pattern out of it. Note how the sharpness/fuzziness of the shadows change every 90° (a result of the light coming from more of a “line source” as opposed to an extended source).

Now I have to start doing the scary bits. The whole self-promotion thing. I have books and board games, but, unless I start with the promotional thing, reaching out to folks and building a mailing list, etc, then these things are just going to sit as prototypes and files on my computer. They are good games, a really nice book. They deserve to be out in the world, and only my social anxiety and fear of rejection is stopping them.

@Suzan is there a way to log a play on BGStats without a date? I’m going through my Wingspan scorepads, and sadly many of the plays are without dates… I’d like to include them in my statistics, but I don’t want to fudge dates.

It's the longest 30 minutes of the day, the time between when my dog thinks it's dinnertime and the time when I will actually feed him.

It took a while, but I have become immune to the pitiful "look at me, I'm starving over here, no one ever feeds me!" face he makes during this half hour.

I haven't been following the Reddit API mishegas since I don't use the platform at all. This post by the lead developer of one of their biggest clients, Apollo, is pretty indicting though. Someone asked what fediverse alternative there is for Reddit. I hope there is one. The less we rely on these concentrated portals for our social network needs the better. I also wouldn't be surprised if Reddit pulls down this post, sorry I don't have any faith in any of these Silicon Valley companies any longer, so hopefully someone is archiving it somewhere. #reddit #apollo #fediverse www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/com…
