Heute das erste Mal #skyteam gespielt. Das ist ein interessantes Spielkonzept, ein Flugzeug zu landen. Allerdings, ob man ein Stichspiel (#dieCrew), ein Kartenanlegespiel (#tippitoppi) oder was anderes kooperativ spielt (#SpiritIsland oder #SwitchandSignal ), spielt an sich keine Rolle. Das klingt hart, ist aus meiner Sicht aber so.

Pulled #SpiritIsland down from the shelf today for the first time in ages to play a two-handed solo game, and I finally won a game! To be fair I’d only played fully solo before, but having a second spirit to balance things out was huge.
Finally got to play a game of Spirit Island with the expansion material this weekend. Good stuff, especially with rp gamer friends who like to narrate every happening through the lens of their spirit character. ^^ In the end, everything belongs to the sea ...
tried Horizons of Spirit Island as a two-handed solo with the Mud and Eyes in the Trees characters (both more defensive), also played with the "add towns" added difficulty level for the first time. Had a good time and won in good order. Frankly I think I'm playing way too conservatively when it comes to allowing blight, I was never in any real danger, so I could consider allowing a little more to get more powers quicker. #spiritisland#boardgames
In einer #Brettspiele Runde ist #SpiritIsland in der Heavy Rotation. Elf Partien seit dem Herbst, gestern die fünfte in 2024. Und kein Ende in Sicht. Es ist absolut faszinierend wieviel Wiederspielwert da drin steckt.
Gestern erstmals mit Geistern der Komplexität 'hoch': Bote der Alpträume und Hunger des Ozeans.
Nach den ersten Zügen waren wir uns sicher dass das in der Kombi nicht machbar ist.

Played a solo two handed game of Horizons of Spirit Island this afternoon, was agonizing for a while on my last turn about just how to get rid of all three cities at once, but I just didn't have the energy for it. One more energy for either would do it! So I decided to destroy two and set the rest up so I wouldn't get too blighted, but things were going to be dangerous. But then the fear card said to downgrade a coastal city for each player, so I won immediately. #boardgames#spiritisland
Tried another solo run of Horizons of Spirit Island with another spirit, this one less offense oriented. Still pretty fun. Might try a two handed solo next. Not sure when I'll ever get to play it non solo. #boardgames#spiritisland
Just tried my first solo game of Horizons of Spirit Island, was pretty fun, hope I played it right. Got to fear level two and realized, wait, I have a ridiculous power that can just stomp their remaining towns and cities and that's the game? Nice.

Vor zwei Wochen sind wir in #SpiritIsland noch überrannt worden. Gestern konnten wir uns - bei gleichen Voraussetzungen - hart revanchieren.
Ich fürchte daß das nur zum Teil einer besseren Strategie zuzuschreiben ist. Ein Stück weit war uns da sicher auch das Kartenglück hold.
Wenn alles nach Plan läuft wird das nicht das letzte Spiel gewesen sein dass es dieses Jahr auf den Tisch geschafft hat. Trotzdem wünsche ich allen hier schonmal einen guten Rutsch! 🍀 @brettspiele#Brettspiele
My daughter made me a custom #SpiritIsland spirit for my birthday. She's often given me fantastic hand-crafted presents, but this reached a new level of awesomeness!

Nach einer ziemlich durchwachsenen #Unlock Box (Legendary Adventures, der Sherlock-Fall war doof) haben wir uns wieder zu zweit nach #SpiritIsland begeben.
Letzte Woche haben wir hart verloren, und das obwohl der Einsteigermodus durch einen Regelfehler noch vereinfacht war.
Heute konnten wir aber mit der gleichen Konstellation regelkonform (nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen) die Dahan retten.

I've played Spirit Island five times so far this month! A thread with some thoughts:
I integrated Nature Incarnate into my existing Folded Space insert, but not without lid lift on both base game and Jagged Earth boxes. But hey, everything for Spirit Island in two boxes!
Towering Roots of the Jungle felt underwhelming. It can prevent blight, but also prevents anything from being damaged where your Incarna is. It didn't help I had to focus on defending... (1/4)
Played my 100th game of #SpiritIsland We played vs England 6 with Breath of Darkness Down your Spine, Shifting Memory of Ages (Mentor), and Serpent Beneath the Island (Locus). Highest difficulty we've played against and we absolutely destroyed them. Extremely satisfying! #boardgames
Gestern konnten wir dem Boss in #MechsVsMinions endgültig den Garaus machen. Damit ist die Kampagne durch, das weitere Spiel haben wir als nicht so reizend abgetan. Vielleicht irgendwann nochmal in anderer Spielerzahl...
Damit kann das Regal zeigen welche #Brettspiele es noch vorhält. Beim nächsten Abend wird voraussichtlich #DeadReckoning eingeweiht. Oder #SpiritIsland tiefer erkundet... @brettspiele
A new couple started showing up at my FLGS. Introduced them to Ticket to Ride: Europe last Thursday. Brought along the trains from The Little Plastic Train Company, which are always a hit.
Last Saturday, we played #SpiritIsland. I think it might have been a bit much for them, but they got the hang of it by the end.
Yesterday, Architects of the West Kingdom hit the table. First time at 5, and it's still great, even with that many people!
